Division 1/2 East: Kennedy Simpson, Selkirk Royals, Forward #18
Kennedy led her team with 7 goals and 2 assists, in 3 games. Her offensive instincts and finishing ability overwhelmed the opposition and she was a constant threat every time she stepped on the ice. She started the week scoring the Royals lone goal on the power play in their 7-1 loss against the CJS Olympiens on Monday. On Wednesday, against the Gabrielle-Roy/Pointe-des-Chenes Cavaliers, Kennedy was in on all three of her teams goals tallying 2 goals and an assist in their 7-3 loss. She really came alive on Friday where she tallied 4 goals and an assist in her teams dominate 6-0 win over the River East Kodiaks. Congratulations Kennedy!
Division 1/2 West: Sienna Cotroneo, SMA Flames, Forward #88
Sienna had a solid performance with great vision on the ice and presented scoring opportunities on almost every shift she had. On Thursday, she led her team back from a small 1-0 deficit against the Shaftesbury Titans with two assists and then capped the game off by adding an insurance goal and sealing the Flames 5-3 victory. On Friday, she opened the scoring with a short handed goal and added an assist in the Flames 4-1 win over the Westwood Warriors. Congratulations Sienna!
Division 3: Kendra Ott, Beliveau Barracudas, Forward #16
Kendra led the offensive charge with two goals, in a strong 8-0 victory over the Beausejour Barons on Monday. Her speed and scoring touch created constant problems in the offensive zone throughout the game. She had a very strong performance at both ends of the ice. Congratulations Kendra!
